Well actually as of this week I noticed that my 95 had some hesitation issues when giving it some gas. I searched some threads on here and have read it could be fuel related or one of the various special sho sensors.
Well the crank, cam sensor and ignition module were replaced at about 15k ago from the ford dealer. Could the mass air flow really make it run iike crap? I unplugged it and drove around for about a half hour and noticed a big difference no hesitiation or bogging in any gear. There looked like there was grease on the terminals for the plug on the air flow sensor thoughts???

Yes a Dirty or Failed MAF can do that to your SHO. Yes the grease was most likely Dielectric grease <<(Spelling?). Change out your MAF.. Have you pulled any codes????

I havent tried codes yet. There was no check engine light on light lite up when it was running rough. As soon as I unplugged the maf sensor it came on. I know thats normal for it to come on. Do you know if napa or auto zone sells new MAF sensors?

I don't know never had to replace one. But even if you don't have a CEL it still can have codes, check them anyway.....

Clean your MAF.

A can of CRC MAF Sensor Cleaner is about $4.99 at AutoZone, etc.

You'll also need a T-15 security torx driver to remove the electronics pack from the housing in order to be able to clean the filaments.
