You only need it if you are running boost. You should first replace your fuel pump.

sorry, i should have been more specific. my fuel pump is fine as it is. but its just stock. i plan on spraying a larger shot soon. am only doing 50 for now. really wanna go higher but worried about fuel. so wouldnt this help?

Don't worry about getting something like that. Change out that old stock pump with a high flow unit and you should be all set to go. Maybe getting a SHONut FPR kit with the higher of the 2 aftermarket pumps (255 lph) if I'm not mistaken.

I think its more of a requirement than a maybe to get the fpr with a larger pump. Im pretty sure that if you dont get a fpr w/ the larger pumps that you will actually lean out the car. A search should turn up the answer.

I have some proof of what NJSHO said.
I went to the dyno a few weeks back, and noticed that things were on the lean side till about 5K.... then it started to richen up.

Im running a 190LPH pump. So it seems this pump is the border line. Im actually going to look at getting an ADJ. FPR as well. Im sure alittle tweeking with it should net me some ponies.
