Does anyone here run 15x6.5 Thunderbird rims? Hows the offset and how big of meats are you running?
TIA

I've seen a couple SHOs with 15" T-Bird wheels. I think SHOnuff93 used the Turbine wheels as track wheels for a while. He had 225/50/15 drag radials on them, IIRC

FWIW, the 15" wheel won't clear the 96 brakes.

Your choices for high-performance tires is also extremely limited - went looking at the possibility of "downgrading" to 15's on the 911 because the wheels were cheap. Couldn't find a tire I liked for the track. DR's aren't great tires for autocrossing or road courses, just straight-line, because of the sidewall design (flexible for max straight-line acceleration, vs. stiffer for more lateral control).

I don't need high performance tires... I have some already and they would be going on a SHO with standard brakes, I know that they will not clear the '96 upgraded swap(not my 91).

How was the offset on the rear?
