Well, now that I'm home and settled in from the TCCA Running of the Bulls, I can make a comment:

Three days before I had to leave on a 2000 mile round trip to western Michigan, my timing belt tensioner shat the bed. Of course, in true SHO fashion, my blower control module followed suite. With little time to spare, I posted up in the WTB for the tensioner, and Fred came through in the clutch, let me tell you! The man was there on a Sunday, on fathers day no less, for me to get the part. Brand new tensioner, great price, and he's just cool to boot! I also got my BCM from him, and if it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't have made Running of the Bulls this year.

Fred, thanks man, you saved my ***!

BTW, Fred is a good guy and knows his ish when it comes to the Gen1 and Gen2 SHO's. Bring your cars to him to go fastah and buy stuff from him to keep it off of the back of a tow truck.

Agreed!

I would have to agree with you totally there man! I recently got my entire suspension, brakes, the whole 9 yards, done in one weekend with Fred. Poor guy put down two ~14 hour days right after his vacation!

He really is a top-notch guy, easy-going, and always falls back to a laid-back side of things (even after 14 hours of work).

Fred damn near burned his finger off after sawing through a rubber bushing on my car. The rubber melted and splashed onto his finger(s). Holy crap, I almost thought he cut an arm off he yelled so loud... but in no time he was back to his Fred-self... keeping his cool and continuing with the sawing. Even threw on his used rear caliper for me because mine was completely non-functional :oogle:

He's always pulled through. I had my 60k done with him last summer, bought my STB's from him, and just recently got my whole suspension/brake setup done.

Excellent guy with excellent deals. He really knows what's going on.

Hello New England,

I was wondering if you know of a TAN/Mocha color 1989 SHO that was in your club at one time. It has the police grill and 16" ARE wheels that are BLACK with a silver lip? It has a NESHOC sticker in its back window.

I just purchased the car and was looking to see if anyone knows a previous owner of the car. I bought it from someone in Maryland. It was 63k miles on it now but it had 53k on it about 2-3 years ago. Let me know if this rings a bell with anyone....
