I don't remember if that is true or not. 99 was the last year and they were decontenting some of the features along the way. Do you know what year? You can look on co part finder and see if they are in a used part recycler somewhere. LKQ too.

Ive tried lkq, seemingly nothing. It doesnt have to be a 99, any 96-99 SHO seat will work. Co part finder has nil, so does ebay.

Here's what's published about seating:

In 1999 - no
6-way power driver/passenger was only available as an option with comfort group on Taurus SE. Which did not have sport bucket leather. Sable did not have passenger 6-way.
Interior: Medium Graphite, Medium Prairie Tan

1998 - yes, power passenger became available
SHO: Sport bucket seats with leather seating surfaces / 6-way power driver seat with power lumbar, Standard.

SHO (+ SE): 6-way power driver/passenger seats with driver's seat power lumbar, Optional.
SE had optional bucket seats with leather, but not "sport bucket seats".

Interior: Medium Graphite, Medium Prairie Tan

1997 - no
SHO: Cloth sport bucket seats.
6-way power driver's seat with power lumbar.
Power lumbar on the passenger seat was removed.
Leather seating surfaces - five-passenger with front buckets (SHO column cut off)
Sable had no 6-way passenger.

Interior: Medium graphite, Saddle.

1996 - no
SHO-only brochure only gives "cloth bucket seats with power drivers seat" (leather optional)

So what you'll have to do is get a seat from a 1998 SHO that had the option in your color, or swap a seat rail and all the trim and switches from a rare 1998 or 99 SE that had that option.

No passenger power 6-way with power lumbar - you'd have to hack the trim to accommodate the switches from custom assembled 97 seat and 98 rail.

There's a 98 SHO in a Seattle wrecking yard, maybe a Seattle member could get and ship the seat bottom.

Yeah sounds like i need a 98 SHO seat, but then have to either swap the whole lumbar seat back from a driver seat, or transplant the lumbar bladder into the existing seat foam to get the lumbar on passenger side

Hi Ty -

Where is home? Anywhere near SHOCAGO?

I have 2 power seat bottoms I removed from Gen 3 SHO seats so I could make SHO office chairs - Gear racks, motors, mounts, etc. that I would GIVE you if you can pick them up. I don't want to bother shipping them, however.

Move them over to your seats and you are well on your way.

I'll be heading from Chicago to Ann Arbor area sometime soon after this COVID nonsense fades to pick up my '90. Where are you, E1? Might be able to help with this. They'd fit in the back of my daily, I could at least get them within an hour of Detroit.

The rails are in Lombard, Illinois.

Within 1 mile of the intersection of Interstate 88 and Interstate 355.
