WTB: Drivable SHO for under $1000

Anyone still out there selling 89-95 SHOs?

They are few and far between these days, rarely see them on the road anymore. But since coming to the forum for the first time in years, I might think about getting back into the SHO game.

Just looking for a drivable MTX SHO, under 200K and something I can actually work with.

Its really hard to find anything driveable for less than $1000 in this part of the world...

Not to mention these cars are finally starting to get some collector attention and values are going up. $1000 cars are now $1800 cars.

Not sure where you are located now, but there was a $500 Gen 1 up in Everett a few weeks ago that was listed as a project. Sometimes Shosource has cars for sale as well, but not advertised. The ad was at the end of this post

Gen 1 used in swap

Im sorry if this has been asked before but i cant seem to find much info on this. Is it possible to use a 89-91 sho as a donor car for a 1993 atx to mtx conversion ? Most of what i have seen is people sugesting using a gen 2 trans in the swap.

Even most Gen 1 parts cars that have been sitting in a field in Michigan people want $1000 bucks for, but deals can still be found here and there.
