Congrats Bob!

-Rick

I need a dyno tune.... and apparently some different front tires in the cooler conditions. Wish you weren't so far away......

That may have been Darreli's problem(s)the other night, as we are both running Conti DW's. They are great most of the time, however.

Tire Suggestions???? .... Anyone???? Currently I'm running 27" diameter. 18" wheels (255-45-18).

Great job Bob!! I knew it was only a matter of a short time and some cooler weather.

Never got it...

I was looking at some Nittos too... If I would get some of your wheels in 18" x 9.5"
There are Nitto drag radials that are like 26.9" tall vs my current 27". It's just that 2 wheels/tires will cost $1,200+. Guess I could get 4 and then end up using DW's on them most of the time... Really need 6 wheels etc... and by the time I get through, we are at over $3K. (and... if the guy on LS-2 is right, the Tranny repair/replace is $5.K & intermediate about $3.K... Will post what he said on our AWD systems, which Torrie says is correct.... Basically... any torque over 150 lbs to rear causes slippage, which means rears don't spin, so if we get spin on front, the W/G Blows. Torrie said the system worked as it was supposed to (9 of 12 times - those with imbalance)

Think all of us who are pushing the limit.... need to do burnouts after driving thru waterbox... this will add a little heat to tires, and clean them off. Sounds crazy... I know.
