Winter Run!

Just a post to let those who are not on topica or fordbastards.

Put on calendar per Mr. Don: Jan. 17th at Possum Kingdom. 1 hr. west of Fort Worth.

Evening activities: no telling but it will be fun!

This year I'm thinkin we will do run the other way this time take 207 off of 717 up to 701 and stay the h e c k off 67 as much as possible. Also I'll be going out there sometime this week to check out a road that comes off of 701 that maybe will keep us off 67 all together. If this road comes out where I think it does we can cut out the top part (the boring part) of the run.

Then we will hit Graham for lunch, then from Graham go down and through the park back to 717 to Ranger. Also by cutting out some of the run we will have time to head to Sundance Square in Ft. Worth for dinner and what ever other trouble we can get into.

Actually you may be closer to the start of the run. Check your Texas map and see how close you are to Ranger, Tx exit #349 off I-20.

I'll be there. Gotta get into one of these fun runs before I sell my SHO. Murph, could you give me an address so I can type it in to Mapquest? I've only been down in the Dallas area once, when I went to Burleson. I went on I-20, then I think I got onto I-35 towards Waco. Gimme directions brotha and I'll be there!

Its in the Possum Kingdom lake area 1 hour west of Fort Worth.

You can Mapquest Ranger, Texas and that is the exit off of I-20 we take to PK. PK is not too much farther north from there.

I can bring it? woo hoo... Good... Cuz I'm not sure about that clutch in the SHO anyways... I know that was my excuse for the last run too... lol... my vette is an 81. It has a 383 stroker, holley 800 cfm 4 barrel carb, weiand aluminum intake, some aluminum heads I got from a friend (not sure what they are) timing gears, and a really nasty cam. It's an automatic though It corners better then my SHO, but that's not saying much, because my SHO handles like a Geo Metro. Murph, isn't your SHO SC'd? If it is, I'd like to run ya...

The runs are pretty much open to anyone who wants to come. We like to beat up on all types of cars.
