Q: Where can I get my bottle filled and how much does it cost?

A: NOS has a toll free number 1-800-99-REFILL, and it gives you the location of the nearest dealer with refilling capabilities. Nitrous sells anywhere from $2 - $4 per pound. The standard 10 lb. tank will cost $20 to $40 to fill.

This info from:

There is also a website somewhere that you input you zip code, and it tells you the closest place.

FOUND IT!!! Just put in your area code and the first 3 digits of your phone #. It gave me 3 local places.
Locate nearest NOS filling place

That website isn't very accurate. I put in my area code and prefix, and all the places it gave me weren't even close. 25 minutes away minium. I know there is another local shop that fills nitrous.

I wonder if it would make the exhaust smell like cherries?

Probably not, but I'm sure you could get really intoxicated off that stuff.... a little different then the local speed shop nitrous. :)

Look up welding supply stores in the yellow pages. If they can refill oxygen/acetelyne tanks, they sometimes sell nitrous as well. Usually cheaper than speed shops too.
