Hello, I have to replace the hub & bearing on the pass front on my 91 & my question is has anyone been able to do it without having it pressed in? If so, what's the procedure?

Thank you

I have been told you can replace the bearing with hand tools in your basement, but I have never done it.
Someone here will have specifics if it can be done.

I've heard some say that the bearing can be put in the freezer for a couple hours. That was new to me

they are a pretty tight fit, I don't believe that it will shrink enough with temperature to slip on.

it's not that hard. I have changed several of them with "custom hand tools" in the basement. great therapy if you have the need to beat on something with a hammer.
however, a machine shop press is Soooo much easier.

try a search of my posts, there may be pictures out there someplace.
