Well I'm pretty sure I need to replace the front passenger side wheel bearing. When driving I noticed a loud humming sound, kind of like a noisy tire coming from that wheel, and I am doing the front brakes and I can wiggle that side in and out, and I can't the other side, so I'm pretty sure its the bearing. So How difficult of a task is it to replace? Also, for those of you have done it, where is the cheapest place to get a wheel bearing? I've searched the usual places but I guess I would just like a part number so I get the right part. I noticed on autozone I have to get the entire hub assembly, rock auto had a couple options, and advance auto had a lot of options. I guess I just need somebody to tell me the best deal that will fix the problem. Any help would be great!

Replace both the bearing and hub. Do not reuse the old hub.

Look up the correct replacement at Timken's website then purchae from whatever retailer you decide on.

Remove the entire spindle.

Locate a shop (machine shop or repair shop) that has a press (call around). Take the spindle and the parts and pay for them to press the old bearing/hub out and the new one in. Expect to pay up to $40 per side.
