I am looking at getting a SHO and I am just curious from the 2013 and above years is there anything majorly different? Whether it is reliability/performance/convenience. certian Mileage i should try to stay under for a used one? I plan on doing some modding though I have no clue where to start on that with a SHO minus a tune obviously. I have been mostly a GM/Nissan guy between Ls1/ls2/L76 GM engines and the 3.7 from nissan. This will be my first venture into a car that has FI. anyhow any advice on things to look for and differences between years and a possibly basic outline guide on what mods to shoot for first that wont break the bank would be appreciated. I have been reading a bunch but im not above asking for help lol. I also want to make sure i don't get to eager and pull the trigger on a 2013-2015 model and the 2016 SHO be significantly better in say the performance area.

Aesthetically, they have some differences in wheels so that would be something I would look long and hard at and go for the model year that you like the best. Price was the #1 factor when I was looking for my car, so after six months of looking I lucked into the exterior color that I wanted, but I didn't get the massaging seats that I had hoped for.

I don't know of any major differences between the newer models, so I can't help you there, but I can almost guarantee that whatever you decide on, you probably won't regret it (especially if you get it tuned).

I would get the 2013. There is no difference between the '13 and '14. The 2015 is about the same but with leather seats. Don't buy new. Wait 1 year and get it certified preowened from Ford. It comes with 100000 mile warranty.
