Okay...my passenger side rear turn signal quit on me yesterday...no big deal, easy fix right.

Today I was cruising down 490E and the car infront of me had a blowout...I braked hard, and after that...My turn signal appears to be working fine. The "Lamp Out" light does not come on anymore when I brake or use the right signal...what happened? Bulb loose or something?

my car did the exact same thing. There are 2 things to try.

1. clean the sockets for the bulbs / replace the contact grease inside.

2. Replace all the bulbs.

What happened to me was the bulb was burnt. So a hard force would move the broken wire to the other side causing it to light up again. Kinda like a broken headlight / you bang on it and it pops back on.

I replaced all the bulbs and the connecting grease. I have a pet peeve on burnt out lights.
