What is your experience with the Livernois Motorsports tunnings? My experience was very bad.

98 octane for the tunning 93

My experience is, less than technical responses, overly priced labor/dyno tuning and exaggerated modifications needed to achieve basic goals. If you don't know much you'll get taken. For instance their precision spark plugs just under 100 dollars. All they are is stock plugs gapped to .030. They will change and charge you for spark plugs on your car if they dyno tune you regardless if you replaced them the day before. And that's 200. Once your locked in to their tune whether it be emailed or custom...youre locked in. Their one tune fits all gig doesn't fit all. And they won't hesitate to have you chasing ghost issues that isnt you...its their tune. They'll talk trash about other vendor's parts for sale saying their garbage just bc they simply don't know how to tune for them. And they're not liable...they'll instruct you to do x, y and z and if you do x, y and z and it caused an issue...then it's your fault not theirs. Cute group.

I will say though that what they started out as ten plus years ago, to what they've turned into currently, is quite significant.

Significantly poor that is.

Unfortunate. For them as a business. As well as for their customer base. Buyer beware is the best way I would sum it up. Being polite and all.

With just a k&n filter on a stock tune car they were getting 310hp.
You got pretty much stock numbers as the car is recommended from Ford to run 91 or 93 and baselines everywhere are between 295hp and 305hp. Maybe its not flashing correctly...

Even when i just had a livernois 3bar tune and nothing else the car seemed like it turned into a rocket. Livernois is easier just plug and play but AJP Turbo and GH have better tunes with alittle more work. You may get a better livernois tune if they actually dyno and tune the car at their facility.
With AJP Turbo tune and most boltons available tuned with Sunoco 110octane leaded race gas i get a mile up the road at Lincoln Speedway pumps i may be around 400hp but ive never did a dyno test

What kind of dyno did you use? Are those corrected numbers? What type of correction?

Every dyno is a bit different... mustang and dyno dynamics can read as much as 10% lower than Dynojet and dynocom can read 10% more...

Did you get a baseline run?

Not defending LMS by any means.

My personal experience has been good and I ran 13.1 in +1500 DA with the same mods as you, minus the intake. I'm pretty sure I could have squeezed into the 12's had a removed both kids car seats, spare tire/jack, etc. I usually get prompt email replies and/or phone calls when I reach out. However, I know that if I want to go faster, I'm going to have to step away from LMS and honestly, I have no problems doing that.

Don't get too hung up on the dyno numbers because they are just that, dyno numbers. The real numbers are what you run at the drag strip. See what you run and if you aren't satisfied, then it's time to drop some more cash and switch to a different tuner. AJPTurbo, GearHead and Ortiz are doing great work. There are several others to try as well, but those three are who you'll hear most around here and for good reason.

I have the same setup on my car along with plugs gapped at .028 and I also noticed that outside of torque management on launches, the car doesn't feel all that much faster, most of the time. Occasionally, it will feel like there is a significant power gain but the power is never consistent. These numbers back up what I suspected.

AJPTurbo 91 octane tune. Car was tune only (sp- 542 plugs, 3 bar, K&N drop in) with craptastic 91 octane fuel in Phoenix 112 degree summer heat.

LMS is trash.

I was more interested in the timeline of the pulls. If they were done on different days I'd wonder about atmospheric changes. If they were done at the same time I'd wonder about heat soak and what the O.A.R. was sitting at for each pull.

I would not tune with LMS at this point with the other tuners out there. That said, I've had their 91 tune loaded for a couple of years without problem. It's pretty safe/reliable and makes enough power to notice the difference. When I decide to tune again, it will be something other than LMS. But I think there is something wrong with the OP's results.

I still own the LMS tuner, but am currently running stock tune. I continued to have problems with the transmission failing to shift from first to second, so I gave up. I never asked for the revised tune... and probably never will. I'll wait to see how the current tuners fare before I invest on another tune. I don't race, never really needed a tune, but my brothers here twisted my arm.

So there are a few questions i have here as the numbers definitely seem off, check out the link to this vehicle we had in the shop that we made a video on, same exact parts as you except his baseline was done on 93 octane so it was a little more on the healthier side than most cars we see but even on the same upgrades as you the vehicle made almost 350whp. So the questions i have for you are what type of dyno were the pulls made on? Were they done in the right gear? Also the 70hp claim is made not through peak vs peak whp but throughout the curve there is a portion where the vehicle can pick up that much power. Did you try reaching out to us?
