NO way we would be able to get the Gazebo this late in the year. Problem was between the other club BBQs, Carlisle, and the convention ... local things take a back seat unless it is a breakfast.

If you guys want to do it in 2011 ... we can look into renting the Gazebo. Keep in mind, there would be a cost for food, beverage and rental, etc. I can front the 40 bucks to rent the Gazebo for the day (2 grills and 8 picnic tables), but it would be up to everyone to either designate someone to bring all the charcoal, food, etc or do a you bring something, someone else brings something, etc.

We should also discuss date. August is Tony's BBQ, July is Convention, June is Carlisle. I would say we are better off trying to get a good day in September where it is still warm but not unbearable.

Randy, I know we have had a calendar in the past. But maybe you and I should meet to go over all the dates that should be on there..

Carlise in June
Convention is july
Tonys is august
Marcell's is september
James is oct

Trying to Get Jermery Assai (sp) from Mobile, AL to host a Feb or March one.. I think we need more Months!

I might do the Christmas party again this year, see how things go.. Money wise.

I do the swap meet, and Memorial day.. but we need local and national calendar...

For the most part we all go together, but like Tonys I go early to SHOP for food and set up the tent. Im leaving Thursday and Chris leaves Friday..

Does someone know if there is a program to handle this? It would be nice to have one regional person and Ken could post the National stuff in one place.. AND somehow get that info to our phones.

If everyone sent their email address to the NESHOC account ([email protected]) I can just add them all to a group. Whenever we schedule something on the calendar it will send them an invite. If they accept, it will add it to their personal calendar (assuming they are using outlook, gmail, etc) and if using a smartphone, would sync to that. They can also register their own phone for SMS text reminders.

As for a national calendar ... I would think Ken could do the same thing with a google calendar, embedded to their site. And just add the NESHOC account as an invite ... then when one of us accepts the invite, we forward it to our group...
