weird thing when shifting

My 97 ES SHO has 136k on the original tranny and it shifts firm and quick just like my dad's babied 98 garage queen SHO. I do have a nice b&m tranny cooler keeping temps on the safe side though.

ive been thinkin about that, seems logical since most v8sho owners have added that to keep tranny temps down. might be a while since temps in nebraska might not get above 30 for a long time, jk :biggrin: , will add one ASAP, otherwise it shifts great. but preserving the tranny is of high importance to me, since the cams were welded, and a transmission isn't exactly in my near future. Paul
