Hey guys. I know some folks have asked about these and some may even already have these floor mats. I could't recall seeing a pic of any on here so I figured I would SHOw how the mats look in the car and the comparison to the oem mats. I was torn between the Huskys and these, but with the way the hooks are on the floor of the SHO, the Weathertech has cut outs for them to lock on where the Huskyliners have a cover to hide them. That may be fine and all, but on my trucks they tend to slide around because of that so that is how I made my decision. These were a bit more pricey than the Huskys, but I get them from work and at cost, well, they were still more but alot cheaper than online. Let me know what y'all think. :thankyou:

I like them. My folks got a set about 9 years ago for our van and they were way better than the factory mats. I just like the fact they're designed for the vehicle and won't slide around.

I can't tell from your pictures, are yours made from heavy rubber or is it a plastic tray?

uncomfortable.

huh?

I don't find the floor pan to be uncomfortable. Do you? I agree its a weird design as opposed to the other generations, but I don't think mats make it uncomfortable.

They are rubber, but are thin similar to plastic, not that gawdy heavy rubber crap you'd find a Wal-Mart though.

He takes his shoes off when he drives.

I have these same mats in my car, and in all my cars. Wouldnt trade them for anything else.

I also have fitted mats from Honda in my TL and they're a great feature. Everything gets trapped on them instead of all over the carpet. Great feature and I'll always have a set for any car I might own in the future.

I have to say that looks bad ass. Where can I get one? easy to clean and even for the people who don’t like the plastic they can place their own mats on top of it. It will keep the main carpet clean and smelling good. :woo-hoo::thankyou::omgsho:

Believe it or not, I just delivered (well, my driver), delivered an F150 to David Macneil in Chicago just yesterday.

I sold him a 450 a couple months back too. Super nice guy and very easy to deal with. I've used weather tech stuff for years.

When I sent the 450, I told him if he had vent shades for an 08 Expedition EL or Mats for a 10 Mustang just throw em in the trade the guys are bringing back.

Sure as shit, the truck was loaded with goodies for me!!!!

Aren't those the guys that take out a 10 page spread in every issue of car & driver? They seem like nice guys. Do they make mats for gen 2s?

Edit: Not the kind you have. Shame.

I had a thread on these a while back, they are the cat's ass. The fit is phenomenal. They're a must for people that have winters. I take mine out for the summer and put in LLoyd's. They go up under the pedals and you can get them with the SHO logo. Get the graphite and not the black though. Black is too dark.

On the Lloyd's get the graphite? Sorry to jack the thread. I'm definately gonna go with the weathertechs for the winter. I'm still waiting for the all weather mats that are supposedly on backorder. Think I'll cancel and go with the WeatherTechs, they look really nice. But i do want the get the Lloyds for summer

Darrel, that's what I'm doing... weathertechs for the winter and Lloyd's for the summer. I'm just saying, get the graphite or ebony mats when you buy the Lloyd's Ultimat. The black is too dark. The flash amplifies the difference in the color. It's not really that much of a color difference.

Oh wow! That is a difference. I take it that's the black? That's the exact mat i was gonna go with, guess I'll get the Ebony. Thanks!

Yes, those are the black ones. The cheapest I found them was at Autoanything.com. Takes a couple weeks to get them in. Let me know how the ebony looks. I would also just get the front ones and save yourself a few bucks. Speaking of rear mats, I thought the one piece rear weathertech mat was kinda stupid. If it's full of water and crap, try taking it out without spilling it all over.
