Must wonder how they dealt with the camshaft failure issue...??!!

RE: Car and Driver magazine November 2004 is reporting that the new Volvo XC90 suv will be using a 'reworked version' of the V8 used in the 96-99 SHO.

Not to be rude, but there's about 6 other threads about this same topic floating around!

It is cool to see Yamaha make a V8 again.

And the 'mid 90s SHO' is the 96-99.

got pix? what about power numbers from this new version? sounds exciting. could be a good source of replacement engines for failed cars. maybe even some aftermarket? well, its in a volvo, so who knows?
