Have any of you used Virtual Dyno as a means to track progress of your SHOs? We've been using it for a while on our personal cars, but haven't used it to publish any data. We have the car running pretty optimally and am starting to wondering how much the car REALLY makes.

On my Mustang, Virtual Dyno is VERY accurate, and the real dyno sheets from our dyno pulls can overlay the datalogged runs within 2 hp of each other. However, there was no preset file for the SHO so we had to make our own. I got information like frontal area and drag coefficients from a Ford engineer, but still not 100% sure I have everything right.

According to Virtual Dyno the car is currently making 460/490 with the mods below, just curious how far off we really are. Closest awd dyno is 2 hours away, might be worth it at this point.

The same can be used if you know the weight and mph in the quarter. Math does not lie. I takes x amount of hp to move x amount of weight at x MPH in the quarter. I would be interested to see what your data says.

yea the 1/4 mile calculator has me at 491 hp (12.36 @ 110 via dragy, haven't been to track on the new setup; 4700 lbs with driver; guessing on that as well as I haven't been on scales)

Virtual dyno has me at 461 hp/468 tq. I'd love to get on an awd dyno by the closest one is 2 hours away and they was $130 for 2 pulls. Don't need to know THAT bad lol
