Not sure what you are asking but I would say no. Why would you want to zip tie the timing belt to the cam sprockets??

what im asking is would i have to tear all the way down to the timing belt tensioner and loosen it. or could i just pop the sprockets off and leave the belt tied to them.

clearly you will need to release the tension on the belt before you can remove it or the sprockets.

im back lol getting to the timing belt tensioner wasnt as bad as i thought it was. but anyways, i changed my valve stem seals yesterday, an while my intake was off i notice a lot of carbon build up. so after putting the car back together i ran some seafoam threw a vaccum line on the intake and a little in my gas, but my car seems to still smoke after valve stem seal replaced. my question is how long does the sea foam take to burn out of the engine? if the valve stem seal were not the promblem wat else could be causing the smoke.
by the way the car has 123000 miles on it. an it is blue smoke so def. oil. i ran a compression test and results were:

#1=200
#2=195
#3=195
#4=195
#5=190
#6=185

it smokes at start up when car has been sitting for a while or when i start it in the morning and its smoke bad when i put my foot in it, but if i just cruise it real easy an not in it, it seems not to smoke as bad(very little).

also i just rememberd that when i was putting compressed air in the 2nd cylinder while doing the valve stem seals i heard a gurgle sound out of the intake port and can hear the compressed air leaking out . head gasket? valves? worn rings?

You can zip tie the timing CHAINs to the sprockets, then remove both cams at once.

typically these engines get sticky rings, which allow more oil burning at startup - the pistons are aluminum which expands more than the iron block when warm, so cold pistons are more loose - if the rings are sticky then the rings are too loose when cold.

seafoam will not fix that. autoRx may, or else using high mileage or diesel spec oil with more detergents may loosen the rings, or you may need to pull pistons to clean them up and/or re-ring them depending on how bad they are.

fyi, every SHO motor I have had apart (all 150k+) have basically had stuck rings.

also when i did the compression test on cylinder #1 it reach 200 but leaked down to 175 really fast and cylinders 2-6 did not do that.
