As I recall, one of the West Coast guys did this over the winter and discussed his experience.

Try a three bottle treatment of Auto-RX first. A lot less trouble.

I was using about a QUART OF OIL EVERY 100 MILES and I was getting angry.

So I threw in a bottle of Restore Engine Treatment and I have not used A SINGLE DROP of oil in the past 200 miles.

I am a true believer. 110k and still running perfect.

If I had been using a quart every 100 miles, the first thing I would have done, is put the drain plug back in.

In my 90 plymouth acclaim I used a quart to every 100 miles...when I pulled the head off and looked at the valves and pistons you should have seen the carbon/oil buildup. Since the rebuild new rings, valves, seals, etc...I haven't used a drop of oil inbetween changes thumbs_u
