I'm replacing valve cover gaskets on 3.0 mtx... Should I use silicone when I go back on?

I put a dab of rtv in the corners or the cam caps and then on plug well seals where they mate with the heads. Be extra careful when putting the rear cover on not to roll the valve cover gasket. Alot of times I use zip ties to hold stuff out of the way and a small mirror to inspect it prior to tightening it down.

And be carefull with the valve cover bolts. Its easy to strip out the hex heads and they only need to be snugged down. Just to where they feel like they bottom out.
