The words "used konis" still entice me . . .
I'm not in the market (anymore), but do these models have lifetime warranty for original owner like others? If so, I assume seller is not original owner of the leaking strut, as it would behoove them to take advantage of warranty. Then the price would be justified IMO, or at least closer to it.

That's alot for those beat up parts considering one should send them all out for service

There is no doubt a market for them. I'm not commenting about any seller. I'm just at a point where I would not install used struts that were beat up unless I was willing to send them in for rebuild. That would make me look at coilovers which cost about half of what the book value is for the car. I am one of the most frustrated SHO people about lack of good strut choices. Almost enough to make me consider walking from these things sometimes

Don't give up, at some point I will publish how to adapt digressive valved Bilstien struts to the front of a 89-95 SHO, if you have a friendly machinist and ability to do a quick weld its not too crazy. The first time I ran them with half coil cut Eibachs and gen 3 subframe conversion, they were phenomenal the few times I open tracked them but a hair underdamped on the street.

this time around will be trying them with either 200 lb GSR code, or 155 lb front springs, which are closer to what they were designed for, and the Gen 3 subframe (in itself not the end for geometry improvements). On the rear I have new examples of the final design Ford Police/SHO struts with 130 lb/inch springs, aiming for a sport touring combo. Going to run an NOS 25 mm rear bar.
