After looking at my program, I don't see where to or know how to change whatever I need to for a TPS. I went from a big aftermarket TB with different TPS to the stock TB and stock TPS and I assume the voltages are different. I have not gotten any help about it on the tweecer forum so figured someone on here would know.

Have you checked the voltage drop on the old TPS? Tip in for stock is just under 1.0V with WOT at a full 5V IIRC.

It's possible that the bigger TPS uses the same reference points, as they're pretty common (for Fords, at least. Don't know about other manufacturers.)

I got a bigger 75 mm BBK for a 4.6 mustang , it came with a new TPS , and when I installed everything , it ran like crap - installed my old sho tps and it was alot better. Not perfect because I had other idle issues as well (not related).

Yeah, I run like crap now with the stock setup. Somewhere I'd assume I can change the voltage but don't know where to change it.
I want to stay with the stock setup as the other setup was way too much for the car.

Okay, I found the old TPS I was using and somewhere on the 'net I found the voltage and it was a ton higher than the SHO, so thats done.
Now, whats the best method for aquiring the data to change the throttle body from my old, giant one to the stock one?

**** it, I went back to the large TB and TPS and put the origional program back. Car fires up but is shooting me some wack codes now that I need to troubleshoot.

Well it runs, but like shit. However the tune is correct for the setup so I think I may be having a TPS issue with the other TPS. ****** won't idle (dies) and today would not throw any codes, even with the paperclip method. My luck is something in this harness died. Threw a TPS code yesterday though.

i may be wrong here but i thought all tps used a 5v reverence.

you are 100% right they all use 5v ref only exception i seen to this is fly by wire which uses no tps.

now there may be some weird setups on stuff like volvos or something but nothing i ever came across didnt use 5 volt ref. i tested a pile of tps on various cars not to mention time spent on megasquirt forum.

chances are you have another issue

try cranking the idle screw in to where it will idle on its own then start hitting throttle see where you are then
