Sorry about all this I got ZERO exp in tuning, but I asked this in my previous thread , didnt get what I wanted to know so here's the question :

1-Can I monitor on the laptop all the stuff going on when the Tweecer is set to "OFF"

2-Is the tweecer uses the stock CPU data , only modifies what you modify in a setup (let's say position 1-2-3-4) OR , You need the full data sheet (d4u1) loaded in pos 1 , plus your mods to it. So when its on POS 1 , it COMPLETELY ignores the stock data stored in the PCM?

3-Is the incomplete D4U1 data sheet would make the car run correctly (but the tune isnt perfect) or it's missing so much it's unusable?

4-Where I could see how the **** I wire the DATAQ to the PLX to the TWEECER ??? any scheme on this? Note that I got Josh's Tweecer RT , and Josh's PLX wideband kit (Module/sensor but no gauges) Here's a pic of what i got.

Thanks for any input , much appreciated.

1- I haven't tried, however, I'm going to say no as it is in the OFF position. I could be wrong, however, if I'm not, write a stock program into one of the working positions and log from that.

2-You MUST load a completely stock binary and modify that.

3-I'm not up-to-date with the D4U1

4-It's pretty simple.... You run the 5-volt signal into the DataQ from the WBO2 (or whatever else you want to log), then connect it to the serial port on your computer. As per Josh's website, here's how you set it up.... http://www.shonutperformance.com/DataQ_Settings.gif

MAKE SURE you read the entire manual. Also look over Josh's TwEECer page and then visit www.eectuning.org.

BTW, you may want to re-word your questions. They do not flow very well which makes it difficult to understand.

No. Since the TwEECer software combines your data logging payload with your computer calibration file when it writes data to the TwEECer module, and since you cannot write anything to the OFF position, you must have the TwEECer switched to program "slot" with your payload if you want to data log any information from the EEC.

As Jason noted, you will need to use a copy of a factory binary image (downloadable for the V6 SHO from the TwEECer page on the SHO NUT Performance website) as the basis for your modifications. From there, you can use the factory image as the basis for your modifications and tailor the program to suit the needs of your particular setup.

It depends on your definition of "data sheet".

If you attempt to upload an incomplete or corrupt calibration file (e.g. with some of the factory code missing, of which the TwEECer uses and expects to see ALL of the data), then your EEC and your engine will not operate correctly.

If you're referring to the existing D4U1 calibration map in the TwEECer software that gives you access to modify the various parameters and functions in the factory code, then you'll be fine with the existing "incomplete" map so long as you have access to enough parameters to make the EEC control your engine properly.

Thank you sir , And by data-sheet i meant the whole bin file :)

Now back to reading the tweecer manual + another EEC manual I picked up on eectuner website.
