When I went to visit my parents I showed them my new to me Taurus SHO and left it at that. My mom thought it was just an everyday Taurus. But she's also the same type of person that would think an Evo is just a Lancer. My dad immediately knew what it was without any explanation.

I tell everyone I drive a Taurus SHO. If they don't know what it is that's fine if they think it's a standard Taurus because I'm not trying to brag about it or anything. But most people I've talked to know the difference.

I'm a "sleeper guy." Always have been. I had a 2007 Impala SS and loved the fact it wasn't a popular car. It was either the SHO or I was going to get the Hyundai Genesis 4.6 or 5.0 (but you can't tune them AT ALL). The G8, to me, is like buying a srt8... horrible gas mileage for more power. I'm not the type to buy the Mustang or luxury car either. I have kids and a wife. I don't like what everybody else likes, simply put. I dont follow the crowd, hence me despising the Charger, and love getting the "what is that" look. I always black out my cars making geeks see them in a different light.
