I have a viper alarm and remote start that I want to put on my car. I've noticed that they make bypass modules for the mykeys where I wouldn't need an extra key in the car for it. Anyone heard about it or know if it would work?

Yes you need some form of a bypass module. The car won't start without one. Manufactures make different types so some may require an OEM key and others may not.
