trim??

I need to know, How do you remove the trim under the headlights of a gen 1?
It's the little strip that goes around to the fender?

You're talking about the black strip? I think it's part of the bumper cover and doesn't come off.

You have to remove the headlight and remove the push fasteners that hold it to the bumper. There are also 3 quick nuts that hold the trim to the fender. Be very careful when you remove these nuts because the studs that are molded into the trim like to break off very easily.
