Okay, yesterday among my adventures at the JY, I got a handful of O2 sensors. I know "get them new". Well, I'm out of work right now and did some research and found out just about every 4 wire will fit from Taurui to 4.6's. I have to be "cheap" right now... Soooo, I get home and first put in the Bosch that was on my car that had 2 of the wires pulled out of the plug. I had popped the pins and re-crimped/soldered the pins back on the wires. I also finally adjusted my TPS. (I can see alot of eyes rolling now..) Yes, I'm a Fox body guy. OKay - It does make a difference. Pretty much contrary to most of the posts I looked up while finding which wire to probe. I found my TPS at .80.... As soon as it hit .90 the idle bumped a tad and the engine smoothed right out. I ended at .995. I go for a spin to see if the damn CEL comes back. It came back in no time. But the car definetly got up better. I replaced the O2 with one with a 94 part # and WOW. The whole driving experience is a big difference! And no more CEL! My wife even noticed this morning when we went to breakfast that it ran and accellerated ALOT smoother. (She's legally blind and can be in tune with this kinda stuff much more than the average person.) Better gas mileage now to boot! Now all I have to do is get the damn struts done and it'll ride smooth too!
