I read in an old post that they dont make a TPR front sway bar bushing. I then went to shonut and looked it up and found that they dont have one listed. Is it still true that one isn't made? I ask this because I found these on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7908789193&category=42609

I emailed the seller and asked about the manufacture of the bushings and this is the reply I got:

"These are made in USA by RAMCOA, the same company who makes them for MOOG, TRW, and others. RAMCOA, USA is printed into each bushing.
These just happen to be black, while the ones made for MOOG are
blue, etc. We prefer the stock look of black bushings."

So is there a front TPR sway bar bushing, or is this guy trying to pass these off as something they are not?

My front sway bar bushings were SUPPOSEDLY TPR, but recent threads have me doubting that.

They were MOOG, and blue.

The seller has been around SHOs for a long time, his name is Russ McCoy. Hes always been very honest when I've dealt with him and a few other people I know have never had a problem with him. I don't think he's purposely lieing to you, but he may be misinformed. I've always heard that there weren't TPR bushing avalible also.

I'm suprised to hear what Kenny has said also. I've never even seen the blue bushings for the fronts, but if they are blue and aren't TPR, I wonder if some of the other blue bushings for our cars aren't TPR as well.

NJSHO, where are you from in NJ?

No one is "lying", "misrepresenting", or "falsely advertising", and the only possibly misinformed person is whomever supposedly posted that "they dont make a TPR front sway bar bushing" (depending on when this was posted). Look a little further into your search, and you'll find many posts about available TPR front ASB bushings.

It should be obvious to anyone who has purchased them that the front bushings are exactly the same material as the rears, made by exactly the same manufacturer.
If this thermoplastic material is not "TPR", then every site claiming to sell TPR automotive bushings of any kind for any application and every company rep I've ever discussed this with is wrong. I would think that it's probably a little more likely that the person claiming that these do not exist is wrong.

Thanks for the presumption of innocence, SHO92.
To answer your email NJSHO, I can combine shipping if purchased directly, but Ebay shipping prices will have to remain as posted.
Look them over when they arrive, and you can send them right back for a full refund (including shipping) if they are not *exactly* as advertised.
