Hi, looking for a good performance summer/all season tire for my 95 SHO. Tire size 225/55/16 - 96 SHO rims.

Been debating between various tires such as General Tire GMAX AS-03, Continental ExtremeContact DWS, Cooper Zeon RS3-A, Goodyear Eagle GT (V rated), and few others..

I've read reviews on Tire Rack and what not already, but would like to see what you SHO drivers have to say.

I always liked my Conti's but they wore pretty fast for me. A good compromise tire for me has been the Michelin pilots and primacy. Some of the others you listed are interesting

Loved the DWS tires, only thing was a bit of numbness in hard cornering. At least on the Gen IVs, the Michelin Pilot Super Sports, DWS/06, Pirelli Cinturato P7, and General GMax are well-liked, depending on driving style/objectives. Most stay away from Goodyear tires, the F1s do work well in hotter climates.

I have the Coopers. They look agressive and handle well. Snow is a joke to them. Lol.

As was just referenced, I would be wary of using a 'high performance' all season tire in winters in the north. Get a less performance oriented all season tire if you want to run in winter or get 2 sets of tires for the seasons. You will be amazed at the difference in how the more specific environment tires perform. Get a set of really good tires for either and compare them to whatever all season you're used to running and you will be shocked at how much difference there is between the two.

Yes of course. My SHO is parked for the winter anyways so im just looking for a good summer/all season tire for the summer. A lot of tires are starting to go on clearance now since the 2016 models are starting to come out now. Thanks for the input :)
