Ordered a wheel and tire package on Friday, and recieved it Tues. morning. Tire Rack was fast, courteous, and the best price I could find. They even came down on the price of the wheels, and their tire prices are cheap. Plus no sales tax. I definately use them again.

Which wheels and tires did you get? I'm just curious because I am thinking about getting new rims for my 94 as well. I've heard the Pirelli P7000s are pretty good, but haven't heard much about anything else (that's good, anyway). Thanks.

Post pics when you can. We all would love to see what the Tire Rack has to offer SHO owners.

I'd have to give a thumbs up to Tire Rack, also. Last year in February I ordered a tire/wheel combo for my 93 atx. They recommended a 215/50/17 series tire, so I decided to go with Dunlop SP Sport 4000 A/S mounted on Team Loco #150 10 spoke chrome wheels. Had tons of compliments. One night a guy in a old Barracuda pulled alongside me and asked if he could buy the wheels for his SHO!
Well, unfortunately, the 93 is gone, but the wheels live on! I'll be using them on my 97 SHO when the snow here in Minnesota finally disappears. I'll be changing over to 235/45/ZR17 tires. More than likely I'll buy the tires from the Tire Rack and have a local recommended installer mount them.
Here's a pic of my 93 with the wheels. Wish I could have taken a better picture on a sunnier day, but it'll give you an idea.

Want to see what the Tire Rack has to offer and what buyers have to say about it? Visit the site here: http://www.tirerack.com/

I have used them and appreciated their price and speed. I have used 9 sets of tires on my 240,000 mile 1991 SHO and the one I am using now is one I highly recommend for high performance use: the Bridgestone Potenza RE730. I have used the Bridgestone S02 also, but their ultimate performance comes at a very dear price.

Do a search by tire size on the Tire Rack site and see what you can find: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/SearchTires.jsp

I bought the 17" SVT Thunderbird (cobra style) rims w/ BFGoodrich comp t/a zr 225/45/17 tires. I've always had good luck with the comp t/a's as far as traction and longevity. Tire Rack has a nice option that shows a picture of the sho (you can even change the color of the paint)and lets you pick the rim and places it on the car. The generation II had around 45 rims to choose from. They had similar rims to the SVT's for less money, but I liked the fact that Ford actually makes these rims. I'm sure some non-enthusiasts will think its a factory SVT Sho. Cool................

I also ordered from them. Called them early tuesday morning and got my stuff the next day! How's that for fast service. Plus since I got wheels and tires together, they mounted & balanced them too.
I would definitely use them again.

Ordered some snows for my Toyota last fall. Wasn't paying attention and clicked one size bigger than I needed. Within hours, Tirerack emailed me back asking if I really wanted that size, since they might rub a bit. That's real service.
