Now that my SHO is running(it wasnt when i got it), since i've been driving it i noticed it has a 'thumping' that is easily felt in the gas pedal and also in the clutch if i rest my foot on it while accelerating. its worst between 2000-3000rpm, 3/4 throttle or so. WOT its not too noticible, or light acceleration. not under load, the engine dosnt knock or anything unusual that i can tell.
Anyone had this symptom before? Should i just drive it and ignore it? :D

Something's wrong. Find it and fix it. Letting it go onger will only add to the expense of repairing the problem. The bumping could be worn subframe bushings, worn upper strut mounts, worn tie rod ends or even wheel bearings. Check it out. Or better yet, let Sergio Perfetti at Jerry's automotive take care of it. He is the Houston SHO guru and aficionado and quite a driver too.

It feels engine related...and when i was driving it today i tried accelerating with slight pressure on the clutch(not enough to disengage it) and the thumping almost went away. since it did that, im kinda leaning towards the thrust bearing maybe? anyone else got any opinions/stories about this symptom? :D
