I had pics of how to do this but I can't find them! headbang But it's real simple. The coolant flows from an outlet just above the top nut on the thermostat housing, snakes it's way through the TB and IAC valve and then to an inlet on the front head.

So all you do is disconnect the hoses from the inlet/outlet points(t-stat housing, front head) and then join the 2 together with one of the existing hoses. There is enough slack to do that(once you've disconnected the other end of the hose from the TB, of course). The inlet on the head is kinda hard to see and reach, I used a needle nose pliers to reach in and squeeze the clamp to get it off.

Remove the airbox for room to work and be careful not to mess with any of the PCV lines in the area and all should be well! Coolant will spill out when you disconnect the hoses but not enough to worry about.

hot coolant circulates in the throttle body to keep it from icing over in the winter. during the summer though it warms the incoming air which is undesirable. this mod just bypasses the TB coolant. you may say "does it really heat up that much?" but when you think of a water/air intercooler or your radiator, its the same idea, so your saving a few degrees at the bare minimum. its free and only takes 5 minutes to do :D

ps - if you use a siphon and take a gallon of coolant out of the radiator cap you shouldnt spill anything at all. this also helps minimize mess when you change the t-stat out.
