Hello all, the name is Brandon and I reside in Fort Pierce FL for the time being, Anyone near by looking for a SHO gathering? I'm very eager.
Anyway... I got my SHO back in Late May after I got into an accident that destroyed the rear end of my 97 GTP :'( The GTP was a hand me down and before my family had the GTP we leased a red 94 ATX ( I would love to find that car again on the net some day) and my mom and dad loved it. Once the lease was up my dad got into the GTP game. We got the the GTP in Aug. of 96 and I was in the first grade.... Lets just say loosing the GTP wasn't easy on the family... After the GTP was gone we looked for another one but all of them were going for too much. So my dad and I had the idea to find a SHO. We found one about 90 miles away and drove to go see it and It was a 93 ATX with a crappy paint job and a tranny that didn't seem to have to much life to it. We got it anyway, and what a money pit it has been. I learned how to replace a tranny this December and this car is the reason I'm thinking of becoming a mechanic for a living. I've learned alot about cars just because of this. There are days I miss that 3800 because it was so easy to work on and it was one owner car but I have to say, when the SHO is running reliably it's fun car. Now I gotta save up the money to replace every hose on it because sometimes when I beat on it I manage to blow another hose. Sorry for the long winded post but some days when I'm out there working I feel that I just need help with it. I'm always trying to fix something else on this car everyday, it has come a long way but trust me, it's got a long way to go yet. I'm sure I'll start asking for help on it soon, the good thing is that I know a bit already so I can offer help in places too :]
