I am going to be replacing my struts, springs, and bearings and some bushings all around.

The List:
- 4 SACHS SARC Struts
- 4 Springs (RockAuto doesn't have any selection, anyone have any recommended springs to go with?)
- 4 Strut Mounts (Front with bearings and 2 backs)
- 2 Front Wheel Hubs

Am I missing anything? First time doing struts so I'm not sure if there are some other small parts I need to replace as well.

Pricing:
HuOd3

Thanks!

I'm just shocked they sell the SARCS. As far as springs...I guess you'd have to find a rust free set? Do yours sag at all? Unless you want/can find lowering springs...

The car doesn't sag.. and it's just slight surface rust which I suppose I could just sand down and repaint, but is that worth it or should I just get new ones?

Get new springs. I see they have rears listed, but not fronts. I'd be more inclined to either keep what you have, or just replace the rears, since that is what usually seems to sag the most.

SHO Source has Moog and their lowering springs for the Gen 3:

You will also need coil spring insulators for the F&R (different) for the bottom of the springs.

The rear strut mounts act as upper spring seats, but you will need upper spring seats for the front. They hold the strut bearing in place, also.

When I got my front mounts & bearings from SS, it didn't include the front upper spring seats, which they sell separately for '89-'95s. Rock Auto or any of the other usual parts outlets should have them. Usually a day or two wait, but one local store here got them the next morning.

Has anyone used the SHOsource lowering springs? What struts did you use? Can the SARC struts handle the lowering springs?

As far as I could tell, the SHOsource springs aren't actually available, as they don't have enough orders to make them yet.

The offer is still on the table, but I think they refunded everyone's money, at least they did with me.

Thanks for the tip, added it to the list!

What about the inner and outer tie rod ends?
I changed those a year or so back, I think they are still good.
