Get this... 14.8 lb / 17x7" wheel! My TD Rim2000's were 24 lb at 17x7.5"! I have no idea how much these are (sent an email) or how strong they are compared to the Rim2K's, but WOW. I'm in wheel-****. thumbs_u

Other than 1 being 6 spoke and the other being 5 spoke, I don't see any differences. Are they the same manufacturer...? I wonder if these wheels will have a problem like Jasons had. They do look nice though, and if they will hold the weight of the SHO, light weight and not be too expensive, they are definitely a great choice for a wheel.

Keep us posted when you get a reply in the e-mail. I'm really curious about the price of a 14lb. 17"

Just talked with Team Dynamics and they told me the rims are cast and weigh 16-17lbs. They will cost in the neighborhood of $160 each. They didn't have any 17'' blanks but would have some by late April early May.

Hey Kaotic, where did you go to find these rims? I went to their website, and not only did I not find my rims, but I didn't find a taurus in the fitment guide either! I want the lightest 17's they got. :)

BigJim, I thought you were trying to write Styrofoam, hehe. I looked them up, none of my suppliers have ever heard of that company. I found the website and will show them tomorrow. Thanks for the new wheel, it is very light.

Yamaha V6 actually found the site, it is:

http://www.teamdynamicsracing.com

It gives the weight on the site, but I called them and they gave me the information. However, like everything else, I could have talked with a disgruntled janitor posing as an engineer.

kaotic, if you could ever get those wheels here and custom fit for our SHO, man, I'd pay through the nose for those. Those are some nasty rims! boink
