Is there any place that I can purchase the tappet holder, other than ebay or other otc/Rotunda places? I am frustrated beyong belief for this 60k has eaten so much time it's nuts. I took the string off from the holder because it was interfering with my view. Next thing I know I'm walking down my porch steps and hear "pop, cling" I've looked everywhere... If someone has one I could use/buy I'd be greatful. Thanks
Oh, I almost forgot... This happens after dropping it down an oil hole and going through taking the pan off :( Also, why are all Ford dealer employees complete *********? I mean seriously. I just called three dealerships and they have zero social skills, no knowledge of anything Ford has ever created, the list goes on... end of rant.

Unless someone is going to sel one off this forum, the only other place to get one is directly form OTC. Go to the SHOtimes website, under valve adjustment. They will have the number top call. The people there are very good, and they ship immediately. Good luck

You can order the deperssor and holding tool as well as any of the 60K tools from several palces. SHOSHOP, Cincysho, SHOnutperformance ect ect ect, and any of the sho specialty shops listed in the on the forum. Shoshop is cheapest.

You'll have to explain the string thing better.

Well I just got creative and used a thin flat blade. I only had five valves to do and it worked like a charm. In fact, I like using the driver's blade better than the official tool.
