Ok When I bought my SHO last year the previous owner said that a 26mm rear sway bar was installed. When I was looking around my rear cause I'm putting new rear strut bushings on this weekend I noticed there is a gap in the strut bushing like you look where it sits in the bushing and there is a gap like its not sitting tight in there and I'm wondering if this is right.

So question is anyone know the measurment around a 26mm sway bar cause I dont have anything to measure it?? Anyone who does plumbing may know what i'm talking about basically you can take a string and wrap it around the sway bar and mark it then measure it to find out the diameter. Cause if it is in fact a 26mm then i'm gonna get some new bushings hopefully this will stop my mystery noise coming from the rear.

Actually all I'm able to measure is circumference

found the equation its diameter= circumference(the length of the string) / pie(3.14) thats what google is for i guess :bonk:
thats what you had thanks for that now i can find out what i have

cool i will try this tomorrow and see if it comes out right definitely an easy way to find out sway bar sizes with out having to buy a guage.

Anybody know if the sway bar should have space in the bushing cause mine do but they are tight they dont move at all but i've still got a mystery noise???
