plastic was standard factory issue on many SHOs

a broken end link, depends on where it broke, can rub, bind, get jammed on stuff.
Years ago I had one break, it wedged into the inside of the rim.

Yikes Perry. Bet that was a bit scary. Thanks for the info. O'riellys has a set of moog end links for $34.99. That doesn't seem to be too awful bad. The metal one came apart. The plastic one is still there. I've had this '93 for about 13 years. I'm trying to get it back on the road. Putting some money into it now.
