ok the question is when i was driving my car last time (been sitting all winter and i did stuff to it threwout the winter) i noticed when i would turn the wheel side to side it would take the car a minute to catch up then it would like lunge into the turn.
i got 24/26 sway bars, tokico rear struts and all stock springs. also just added a stb up front, now ive been planning on doing suspention upgrades this summer so this isnt a real big concern.

not to mention i need an alignment bad because i dropped subframes and swapped them for my atx to mtx swap.

also got new strut mounts up front and the rear ones look fine but they are all oem mounts.

i know it needs an alignment because the wheel is semi turned to go straight and it slightly pulls to a side if i let go of the wheel.

if anyone is wondering i used the mtx springs because i know the atx springs are slightly stronger for the added weight. well im not certain just a guess and what i heard.

the last thing is the rear tokicos are off a 92 and my car is a 95 so they are longer and i got the sway bars and the HD end links off the 92 donor car but the thing is whenever i had taken the 95 rear struts off and put the 92 tokicos on the car i had to use a jack to push the swap bar brace bracket up to get the bolt in then i just used the bolt to pull it up. well when i did this looks like the rear HD end links push towards the back of the car angled like. where as it didnt do it when i had the 95 struts on.

any ideas guys? mine is that the 92 tokicos are much to long for the end links.

any solutions.? thanks:type:

Mine do this too. The endlinks look way too long. What I plan on doing is getting the Moog endlinks and putting washers on the top nut to decrease the rod length.

I noticed that your sentence structure is ok but man, your thoughts just go everywhere. It's hard to read your post and figure out what you're trying to say!

As far as the 'lunging' goes, that can be affected an amazing amount by your tires. How tall are they? Are they ***-60-16? ***-55-16? If your tire's too wide for the slicers (like mine are), the increased sidewall incidence angles will cause slop when you first turn the wheel. Tires with softer sidewalls will cause this also. I had some Yoko AVS Db2s on there and turn-in was great, but when I went to Kumho Ecsta 711s, it went to crap because the sidewalls were a lot softer.

and yeah, get your car aligned ASAP, silly! :nut: or you won't have any tires left at all!

check your strut rods in front @ the subframe and the LCA. if they're loose at either end, the front end will do all sorts of weird stuff.

Have you checked your tire pressures? What pressure are you running in the front? It sounds typical for an under-inflated situation.

225-65 is way too big. My summer tires are 235-55 and I found it way too soft. stock is 215-60.

now that someone made mention to it sounds like the tires since last set on there it seemed much better and i know they were hard compound.

my vaps did change since the 3.2 atx to mtx swap. got so much easier to turn but like i said the tires seem to be it... im running 40 psi on them haha

Sounds to me like you need a green 91 instead. I'm sure the ****** tires are making a big difference. I sure notice a difference when I go from my winter mark snow's, to street rubba.

lol id get a 91 but i got a good amount of work into this one and i wanna finish it up.
**** with the interior swap alone that took a good amount of time.

running wise the car is a monster right now. on that last drive olny thing i was able to run against was the g/fs 01 eclipse RT and that thing disappeared after giving it WOT for about 5 seconds, had to slow down to almost a stop for her to catch up again. haha

it was totally my fault tho i like the look of rubber on my tires so i went a wee bit too big haha. i didnt think the sidewalls would flex that much.

i didnt notice it until i decided to play around in the turns, first words to mouth was o **** when i thought the car wasent gonna turn but next thing i knew it grabbed and grabbed hard then the car took the turn good.

maybe ill try out something a little less rubber maybe 215 45 haha and im gonna grab a good set of tires like z rated haha pricey but they will hold good.

just a few more bugs to work out and ill be done.. course i did take my time with this project.

**** i didnt even complete this one and i already got a new project in the works haha
