Supercoupe wheels bolt up?

Hey all, can you guess I've got my old SC (89 XR7 actually) getting ready to fly apart?

The rubber is good and the wheels look like they'd fit, wonder if anyone has succeeded w/that.

Bonus question, will the center caps swap?

(yes, easy Qs but I've been way busy and if you know you could save me an hour's bad idea I'd sure appreciate it!)

the wheels will fit, but I'm not too sure on the center caps. As far as I can remember, they will snap in. I have a few stock t-bird caps here, and they seem to be an exact match to the SHO caps.

I just got a set of T-Bird SC rims (the early non-directional ones). They do bolt right up to the SHO, and are nice rims (though heavy) since they are 16x7. My Potenza SO-3s will be mounted on them this friday.

The centercaps from the SHO will snap on the T-bird rims but they are too small and look goofy. They don't fit right.

Cool. Since we're in a drought, I think I'll give the rain tires a break and run w/the low-mile Gatorbacks for a while.

Guess the center cap would have been too cool to be true.

yeah the XR7 wheels fit, but as john said the center caps dont, i actually put these wheels on my car they dont look too bad, i will see if i can find a picture and post it for ya

If I have the time to get my tires mounted I'll take pictures of the SC wheels and 225/55/16 SO-3 tires this weekend at the autocross.

It's getting down to the line and I'm super busy, so.. don't know if it'll happen. If not, next week.
