I pulled my sun roof button cover down, and now I can't get it to pop back into place.

Any suggestions?

Are you talking about the entire cover?

If so~ The clips on the rear of the cover go OVER the metal tabs that are attached to the car...

It goes together kinda tight... Just pull the cover towards you, line the clips up, slide them over the tabs, then push the cover into place.

If you pulled it down without removing the two mounting screws under the light bulbs, you probably broke the metal mounting plates away from the plastic cover.

The way it is supposed to be removed...

1) Pop the lenses out with a small screwdriver

2) Remove the light bulbs, then the two screws

3) Allow the front to drop down, then move the whole assembly rearward to clear the rear mounting tabs.

Mine was broken when I got this car. I used a couple of phillips screws to put it all together and painted them to match the cover.

Even if the plastic tabs are broken away from the mounting bracket you DONT have to put holes in the cover...

One of the tabs on mine was busted so I ran a couple of small 1/4 drive screws threw the bracket into the plastic. They show up on the otherside just under the lights...

cant see them and they dont effect the use of the lights

may i suggest using a magentic tip screwdriver or magnitize it yourself. one of the screws acts as a ground and makes one of the lights work.

Thanks
I only pulled the back down, and I thought those tabs were suposed to connect with the black clips secured to the roof. I will try a little harder.
