I just bought some Hella FF75 driving lamps and was curious if any of you out there had some ideas on how best to install them. Better yet, anybody have pictures of the installation? I searched the forum, but did not come up with anything useable. Thanks for the help. :salute:

The brackets that they come with are too short to be able to anchor them to the metal plate in the back.....ideas?

Make new brackets? I would think you'd want to get rid of the OEM anchors anyway. They weigh a ton....

I made some brackets out of aluma flat (1"x1/16")...they came out pretty good. The only problem is that I don't like the fact that when I hit small bumps, I can see the lights vibrating. I think that I'm going to remove the metal brackets that are behind the lamps and use the existing holes that are left by the bolts holding the plates. Get the picture? Post pictures as I go. :salute:

Well, this is why I changed out my foglights...water got into them last week when it rained and the streets flooded a bit....

Not the best images...I have an old digital camera...the pictures don't do the lights justice. My camera wouldn't even focus when I tried to take a picture directly in front of the car...the lights were throwing the autofocus off. I have Silverstars in the headlights and the Hella FF75s are "hella" bright :p . It is a HUGE :thumb: difference from the old lights. :salute:
