OK,

Well I had pondered getting rid of the car... I just cant bring myself to do it.

So last night after a few preventative Tie Rod ends, and two stabilizer End links, and a single ball joint I am about to get an aligment...

I have the thump that I presume is Sub frame Bushings since I have had this car up a lot lately getting some work done on it...

I have a scheduled alignment on Friday and wont have the sub frame bushings to do before that alignment... should I postpone the alignment until the bushings are done? OR will it have absolutely no effect at all?

I just hate to pay for an alignment on Friday if I will even potentially need another one in a week or two when the bushings go on?

Thanks

If you think its the subframe bushing put it off. As its the base of all alignment is from the subframe alignment.

Or....Spend your $50 on an alignment...then do the SFB.

Then take the car back to the shop and complain about the poor alignment "all of a sudden"

make them fix the alignment for free.

Then .... never go back... HEH

Sub Frame Bushings

Get the best subframe bushings you can.

I've had aluminum for three years and all the adverse reports I heard about them turned out to be false. They were the single best upgrade I've done to the car. By the way, I'm 60 years old and can afford to drive any car I want. For some reason I drive that damn 89 Taurus.
