This grudge match is envitable, he wants a rematch and I can't walk away from a challenge. I'd like just a little help so as not to lose pitifully. Dry NO2 it is then. (and cat-less y-pipe)

Also, my brother agrees that the dsm trannys are sh*t, UNLESS you have the 6 spd Getrag from the newer models (which he doesn't have)

sorry man your brother needs to do his homework then.. the 5 speeds were getrag also i dont know why people keep refering to them as DSM trans they are far from it... they are made in germany for gods sake, the 6 speeds are weaker then the 5 speeds mainly because they need to have a bell reinforcement plate welded in them since they are **** to crack being aluminum and trying to make them lighter

yep guess I was wrong, 5 speeds for mitsu's are getrag. I can admit when i'm wrong, next time I will cross reference. however, I have seen that car take a sh** way to many times for me not to believe that it is sh**.

eh, this post might be over, but his car is almost complete. like I said, I will race him, and from what I'm hearing, I will lose. I will put an update on my profile when the time comes. Im feeling pretty sh**y already...

engine for engine the SHO IMO was better but mitsu took it a step further and added turbos and forged slugs where ford did nothing special as usual..

the mitsu engine is a crappy motor if you ask me so many things go wrong with it, basicly if you have one over 80k miles your lucky...

from what i had gathered they have more rod bearing problems then a SHO
