Well, that's all fine and dandy, but if you've been to my cardomain site, I love turbocharging vehicles, so we'll see..

I'd bet Toolman can get him

uh no duh. but are we or are we not in the power adder section? You see, I know I can't catch him as is, so the question is, what will it take?

I do appreciate the helpful responses, however. The nitrous injection would be interesting to try, maybe I search out threads for that.

My silly little brother just bought a dodge stealth r/t twin turbo and has been bragging about it non-stop. I whooped him bad in his sohc stealth, by time I got to 100 he was 10 cars back. Whadya think? According to wikipedia, the twin turbo made 296hp.

I just need an edge to keep ahead of him, what'll take?

It's a 24V V6 DOHC with AWD. It was just as much as a SHO though. I know a SHO owner who has taken his R/T Twin Turbo to the drag strip. It put up better numbers than the SHO..and thats with a leak.

Get the Zex 82011 kit with a Y-Pipe and you'll be all over his ass, if not faster. With just those mods I walked a Lancer Evo. Don't forget to buy copper plugs one heat range colder.

I know you never abused that car at all....

:laugh_ti:

You have no idea! I used to rev it to 5000 and side step the clutch! It would leave 4 black marks about 3 feet long!

This is still the car that I have gone the fastest in on the street.
150 MPH bone stock.
The manual said that it was electronically limited at 157mph and I wanted to find out, but I was running out of road in a HURRY!

This cas was also a monster in the snow!
We had 4 M&S tires for winter and have ran through 10 inches of snow with no problem! We were basically pushing it out of our way with the front bumper.

I can not express how disappointed I am in you Brian!

On another note, I am very sad that my extremely witty remark to the OP did not get some thanks. I am now going to be very stingy with my thanks! :fit:

Yeah and that Zex kit aint a bad price either. Would I need a bigger fuel pump for the 75hp shot?

Nope! Just colder plugs and 100 shot will do. I don't think you will have an issue beating him with a 100 shot.

it also really depends on how ur brother drives. I have owned a 92 stealth R/T TT (3si) among also many dsms even as well. they all suck. If his trans doesn't blow out or he doesn't miss a gear (cause the trans are super junk) then yea he will definately walk all over ya (especially if he knows how to launch it. otherwise, just try for the heck of it. if he starts to pull in front of ya, just ram into him.

While some would disagree, I would definatly upgrade the fuel pump. It cheap, easy and good insurance. If your stock pump is weak it could cause you to lean out and blow your engine. A Walbro 155 works well and does not require a FPR kit to run. Just my 2 cents. FYI I believe the stock injectors are good up to about 300hp.

ill keep it simple... i beg to differ on the trans side of it...

not many trans out of the box can handle 800+hp..

not to mention there is a 7 second stealth on youtube with a stock trans aside from the transfer case brace billet transfer case and a aluminum flywheel

the only thing that was junk about those trans is the fact mitsu had been putting the wrong fluid in them and junking the syncros..

from the sounds of it you never been to the 3si forum have ya?
