Hey guys... My 93' ATX has been making a weird thumping sound for a week or so now. I first noticed it while pulling into my driveway... As I turned to pull in there was a noticeable thump from the front just as the front wheel hit the slight curb at the end of my driveway. Didn't think much of it, until it began doing it more often. Now the thump occurs if I take off quick, and also when I hit the brakes hard. It's a very firm thump, and it just does it once every time. I am aware that the front motor mount is broken, but it had been broken for at least a month before this thump started, and it never made a noise. I know I need to get the mount fixed asap, but I am thinking it could possible be something else making the sound. The only thing I can think that may have caused or initiated the thump somehow is there was construction on a road just before the noise started, and I came up on a part of road they were working on (A foot and a half wide) unexpectedly at about 40mph that the workers didn't fill in with dirt enough. The front wheels hit it VERY hard, and slammed. I was so mad! Any ideas are appreciated!
