So i was getting my oil changed when the mechanic pointed out that i had a

broken shock about 1/8 of an inch from my tire. Since i have to get new

shocks and struts, i was thinking about getting lowering shocks. But my car

already seems low due to the ground effects kit. Any body got any

comments or concerns on what they think is best to do. I have only owned

my SHO for about 3 months.

I think you mean lowering springs? Intrax, Eibach, Moog Cargo Coils. Whichever spring you choose you will need a better strut like Tokico or Koni to handle the increaded spring rate.

I have the Eibach/Tokico combination which is firm but not punishing. My car is only slightly lower than stock.
