I'm about to replace everything I can on the suspension and I think I have all the parts. I do not know though if there is a spring insulator or rubber seat for the top of the springs. I've got new ones for the bottom of the springs, and I have new strut mounts, but I can't tell if there's anything between the spring and the strut mount.

no, the strut mount goes right on the top of the spring.

They should seem big, springs are compressed when installed onto struts. If you are still unsure, I would check the invoice to make sure you received the correct part number, otherwise install them and see how they look; perhaps a coil cut is in order if you are not satisfied... though before making a decision to cut you should wait until you've put a couple hundred miles on them to allow them to settle.

That's what I was guessing. It's seems odd not to have any rubber isolators up top, especially since they have them on the bottom. All my other cars have had them top and bottom.

spring perch

Hey there, just replaced my strut mounts with adjustable strut mounts... there's a thin rubber piece that goes between the spring and spring perch. Hard to get a relacement rubber, my were ok so if that's your case just go with it.

at the top on the front....

spring, bearing plate sits on top of spring, strut mount/isolator (the thingie with the 3 bolts) sits on top of bearing plate, car (strut tower) sits on top of isolator.

in the rear, strut mount/isolator sits directly on the spring, car sits on the isolator
